Kalyn Norwood is the founder of Capital K Public Relations, serving clients nationwide.

 

​As an Emmy Award-winning journalist with more than a decade of experience, Kalyn brings deep expertise in media strategy, storytelling and public messaging. Having spent years in the newsroom, she knows the power of a great story. Today, she specializes in helping organizations tap into theirs.
 

Before forming Capital K PR, Kalyn worked as a national correspondent with her reporting airing across dozens of television stations in the United States. Her work appeared in markets ranging from Boston to Sacramento and was featured on national platforms. Throughout her career, she has interacted with top U.S. leaders, including the President of the United States, Vice President, several Cabinet officials, and White House press secretaries. She began her career in local news as an anchor and reporter, where she earned and was nominated for multiple regional Emmy Awards.
 

Originally from Dallas, Texas, Kalyn holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Rice University and a Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast and Digital Journalism from the University of Southern California.
